If you're willing to have a small wedding ceremony with just a few of your very best friends there, you can do it for quite a reasonable price. You can make it special by incorporating touches like top wedding songs. The issue is that, if having inexpensive weddings is your intention, you have to plan everything around it. That means that you have to have a small guest list, make reservations at some cost-effective place, have some cost-effective wedding day dress, rent a tuxedo for the groom, and play top wedding songs on a less expensive sound system, normally scrimp and save at every opportunity. Some of my customers have actually taken their own wedding photographs to save on the cost of hiring a wedding photographer!

The bottom line is that the most cost-effective wedding ceremonies are done in a judge's chambers. Everything else that you do costs extra money. Some families go into debt for years due to what they spend on holding a grand, elaborate wedding. To me, it looks like a pity. When I meet clients who truly want to have affordable wedding ceremonies, I tell them to have them in the back yard. That way, they can save on wedding reservations - and play your top wedding songs on a boombox, if necessary! If they are truly ambitious, they can even cater it them-selves. If there are going to be more than thirty people there, however, this is generally not an incredibly good idea.

I guess that it all depends on what you expect from your wedding. When I first got married, all I desired was some uncomplicated ceremony to give my love to my wife. If, on the other hand, you want to have an extravagant party with all of your friends & family, you will have to pay for it.
